chicken pot pie


  I have been craving a Chicken Pot Pie lately. Love homemade ones. Here is one that I think I will try, a friend passed this recipe on to me. 2 REGULAR PIE CRUST SHELLS 3 TBSP BUTTER 3 TBSP ALL PURPOSE FLOUR 1/4 TSP GROUND BLACK PEPPER 1/2 C CHICKEN BROTH 1/4 C MILK 1 C AMERICAN SHREDDED CHEESE 2 C COOKED AND DICED CHICKEN 1 PKG BROCCOLI THAWED AND DICED Preheat oven to 425 . Heat butter, flour and pepper until bubbly. Stir in broth and milk until mixture thickens. Add Cheese and stir until melted. Fold in chicken and broccoli. Pour into pie crust. Moisten edges of crust with water. Invert another thawed pie crust directly on top of pie.
